Basically the articles are to help us understand which game we should create. Finding the scope of your game is basically choose which game to create. It helps designing the game easier and will help realize whether or not you should make the game.
The user stories we’ve created so far help break down our game into simpler parts. For example with our monster chasing the player through the maze. The monsters mechanics are simple wander around the maze, the monster “catching the player” equals a game over, and last but not least the monster will chase the player if it spots them. These user stories will help us focus on the simplest parts of our characters/game pieces.
